Technology and integrations

It plugs into what you already run

Protex sits on Oracle Database and the code is ours: integrations get built, not queued.

  • Oracle Database

A database external software written in modern languages can read directly.

  • E-commerce

Master data, availability and orders kept in step with your platform.

  • EDI

Document exchange with supply-chain partners in the formats they require.

  • Shipping platforms

Documents and tracking generated as part of the goods-out cycle.

  • Barcode and RFID

Scanning on the floor and in the warehouse, tied to Protex movements.

  • Third-party tools

Bespoke integrations handled by our team, with no imposed technical ceiling.

Because the code is developed in-house, there is no ceiling on what can be integrated.

How we work

From analysis to production in 8–16 weeks

A path our own team walks with you at every stage — no external consultants, no handovers.

  1. 01

    Process analysis

We come to your site to understand how you actually work: departments, flows, exceptions. No standard questionnaire.

  2. 02

    Configuration

Protex is configured around your production cycles, not the other way round. We own the code, so we can adapt it.

  3. 03

    Data migration

Master data, stock, order history and accounting are transferred and verified before go-live.

  4. 04

    Training

Delivered by our own technicians, who know both the software and textile processes. Included in the rollout.

  5. 05

    Go-live

Launch with on-site support, then direct assistance from the in-house team that wrote the code.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is Protex ERP and who is it for?

Protex ERP is a complete management software developed internally by Computer House Srl since 1979, designed exclusively for textile companies: spinning mills, weavers, dye houses, finishing plants, garment manufacturers and mixed cycles. It manages production, warehousing, orders, accounting, MRP2 and sustainability certifications in one integrated system.

How long does implementation take?

Implementation times depend on company complexity. For a typical textile SME, going live takes 8 to 16 weeks. Our team accompanies the company through every phase: process analysis, configuration, data migration, staff training and go-live with on-site support.

Does Protex ERP adapt to my company's production cycles?

Yes. Protex supports all types of textile production cycles: internal cycle, external cycle (subcontractors), mixed cycle and hybrid production. It handles any treated fibre and is configured to each company's specific operational needs, without forcing generic processes that don't fit textiles.

Do you offer training and after-sales support?

Yes. Training is included in the implementation and is delivered directly by our technicians, who know both the software and textile processes. After-sales support is guaranteed by our internal team: no external call centre, average response within 4 business hours for urgent requests.

Can I integrate Protex with other software already in use?

Yes. Protex is based on Oracle Database and supports integration with other software developed in the most modern languages. Our team handles custom integrations with e-commerce systems, EDI, shipping platforms and third-party tools. Since the code is developed internally, there are no limits to integration possibilities.

How does the licensing system work?

We offer an unlimited, non-transferable licence: no per-user costs, no feature limitations. The subscription includes continuous updates, new features and access to all software evolutions. You can grow without additional licence costs.
